The Architect
Navid Firouz, an engineer by trade and an operator by training. During the 2008 financial crash, he helped architect the Reuters News Sentiment Engine - one of the earliest AI-driven NLP systems used by institutional trading floors to quantify market risk. This was AI before the hype: hard-coded, high-stakes, and mission-critical.
He later transitioned to global product leadership, driving chip launches at AMD (Sunnyvale), leading open innovation at Samsung HQ (Korea), and serving as Chief Engineer for corporate transformation at LG HQ. At Accenture US, he led the IoT and Mobility practice, advising Fortune 100 clients on digital infrastructure.
Navid holds executive education credentials in Finance (Harvard), Business Model Innovation, and Design Thinking (Stanford). He is currently completing his Executive MBA at Quantic (2026).
Why We Built This
Over a 20-year career working with venture-backed startups and global enterprises, Navid identified a critical gap: The failure of execution.
He saw founders drowning in "strategy" but starving for implementation. He saw corporate venture teams paralyzed by process. Summontis was built to close that gap. We exist to replace open-ended consulting with deployed capability - bridging the speed of a startup with the governance of an enterprise.
